 Registration Support Agency

The Japanese government enforced the new status of residence "Specific Skills" from April 1, 2019, and it has become possible for foreign workers to work in 14 industries where labour shortages are recognized as serious. The government policy is to accept up to about 345,000 foreign workers over the next five years.

The registration support organization is a support agency (project) for foreign human resources who come to japan with the new status of residence "Specific Skills" that started in April 2019. There are two status of residence for specific skills, "Specific Skill No.1" and "Specific Skill No.2".

There are No.1 and No.2 in "Specific Skills". "Specific Skill No.1" can work for 5 years only in that industry by passing the "Skill test" and "Japanese Language Proficiency Test" imposed for each industry, or by completing Technical internal Training No. 2. it is a qualification to become. The difference from the previous work qualification is that the status of residence does not require "Educational Background" or "Experience in related work in your home country". Although detailed rules are imposed on the receiving side, it is a very low threshold qualification for those who wish to acquire it.
